GENERAL INFORMATION

The Miami Beach Point-of-Care Ultrasound Conference was started in 2020 with the objective of orienting the incoming Emergency Medicine Interns at Mount Sinai Medical Center in ultrasound applications and fundamentals. After observing its success we expanded the conference and offered education to many regional Emergency Medicine Residency programs. This gave us the opportunity to see old friends and meet new colleagues with the same passion for becoming better as physicians. As a firm believer in the power of ultrasound to make medicine better, I also believe that clinicians from all scopes should find the power in ultrasound as well. This course is for any clinician who wishes to learn the foundations of ultrasound and learn how to apply those skills to your practice. Didactics and hands on scanning is generously provided from trained and fellowship trained leaders in point-of-care ultrasound. State of the art ultrasound systems are supported by multiple ultrasound vendors which allows all course members to see the latest and most advanced POCUS systems. I want to give a special thank you to all of you who continue to support this event and make it possible. We are very enthusiastic to continue this course with the same objective in mind, education!
